Experience Motorola's Seamless Mobility 'Live!' at Wireless Enterprise World- Liquid media demonstration part of Motorola's comprehensive portfolio to deliver seamless connectivity for home, businesses and consumers
Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT - News) will bring its vision of converged networks and seamless mobility to life at Wireless Enterprise World, Australia's premier trade show for enterprise mobility, from 22 to 23 March 2005. Visitors to Motorola's booth at the Sydney Convention Centre will gain greater insights into how Motorola is delivering on its vision of seamless mobility through a comprehensive portfolio of solutions.
Central to Motorola's solutions showcase will be the demonstration of liquid media -- an innovative network-based system that allows consumers to take multimedia content with them across different environments. With liquid media, consumers can gain the ultimate experience and take a significant amount of content -- be it voice, data, or video -- with them in a seamless fashion and experience it on different devices based on the environment capabilities and user's preferences. Liquid media enables ultimate service ubiquity - service that knows no bounds and puts users in control of what they want, when they want and how they want their service.
Motorola will also be showcasing its Push-To-View solution, enabled by Motorola's IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), on GSM/GPRS PoC (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) handsets. With Push-To-View, the first in the family of "Push-To- Share" applications, consumers can now see the presence state of their contacts and share pictures, captured on their phone, quickly and easily as part of an ongoing Push-To-Talk session. Push-To-View capabilities provide new real-time multimedia service data application that can help PoC operators increase revenue and differentiation opportunities.
"Motorola continues to play the role of pioneer and innovator in wireless communications, and we are making seamless mobility real by delivering unique experiences across the home, the auto, at work and out in the world," said John Edwards, vice president and general manager of Motorola Networks, Asia.
