Vodavi Receives 2004 'Product of the Year' Award from Communications Solutions Magazine; Telenium IP Telephone System Recognized for Outstanding InnovationVodavi Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:VTEK), a provider of business telecommunications solutions, announced today that Technology Marketing Corp. (TMC)'s Communications Solutions(TM) online magazine (www.tmcnet.com/comsol) has named Telenium IP Version 2 as a recipient of a 2004 Product of the Year Award.
"Each year Communications Solutions magazine bestows its Product of the Year Award on companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements. Vodavi has demonstrated to the editors of Communications Solutions that its products or services have gone the extra mile to help improve both the customer experience and the ROI for the companies that use them," said Rich Tehrani, president and group publisher of Communications Solutions.
Clyde Zimmerman, president of FiberCom Inc., a Vodavi Authorized Gold Dealer and President's Club Member based in Woodbury, Pa., believes this product award is just the beginning of many future accolades for the Telenium IP. "As enterprise organizations move to an all-IP infrastructure, demand for innovative, full-featured, reasonably priced solutions will be at the forefront. Vodavi consistently tackles the business issues of running a dispersed workplace environment and rises to the challenge with Telenium IP."
Vodavi's next-generation Telenium IP system allows enterprises to integrate call processing and IP routing onto a single IP data network for all their voice communications. The version 2 release of Telenium IP supports port capacity of up to 300 ports per system and provides multisystem, multilocation networking and remote worker capability for centralizing services and reliable handling of larger call volumes. Telenium IP offers the popular features available on traditional key systems such as 4-digit dialing, conferencing, call forwarding, centralized voice mail, auto-attendant, and Automatic Call Distribution (ACD).
The Product of the Year Award winners will be published in an upcoming issue of Communications Solutions online magazine.
"We appreciate the editors of Communications Solutions recognition of the Telenium IP," said Gregory Roeper, president and chief executive officer of Vodavi. "As businesses continue to embrace pure IP solutions for remote worker capability, and reduced infrastructure and administrative costs, we will continue to monitor enterprise needs for IP applications and advance the Telenium IP to give our customers what they deserve from their IP investment."
