LAS VEGAS Nov. 7, 2005--Wiremedia (PINK SHEETS: WRMA - News) unveils its initiative for China with the announcement of its intention to launch a subsidiary operation in Shanghai. Through this initiative, Wiremedia intends to leverage China for its domestic growth opportunities and thereby make significant inroads into the country.
Considering the high rate of Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone adoption in China, it is conceivable that China may become a key growth market for Wiremedia's Bluetooth location-based marketing system.
The China Initiative
Wiremedia's China framework will consist of three parts - a Wiremedia subsidiary, based in Shanghai that will undertake marketing activities to promote the company in China. Subsequently, the company intends to establish a presence in Beijing to cover areas in client relationship management and public relations, in addition to providing support to the North East and Northwest regions. Lastly, Wiremedia intends to set up a development center in Hangzhou to provide end-to-end services for prospective clients over the Asia Pacific region.
