REDLANDS - Loretta Chacon, a new member of the American Business Women's Association and representative of the Foresters organization, presented a program on financial planning at the January meeting of association's Redlands Charter Chapter.
Foresters is a nonprofit organization that is a strong supporter of continued quality care for children in an environment that puts children first.
Chacon emphasized that it is important for women, whether single, married, divorced or widowed, to have a financial plan which can include life insurance, annuities or other investments. Women fail to plan because they believe they do not have enough income or assets, or that they are too young or too old to begin planning, said Chacon.
