Women Dial-In to the Divorce Support & Finance Boot Camp at theFinancial411
On January 31st, women across the country can access the support and training awaiting them on the other end of a toll-free conference line available through theFinancial411’s Divorce Support & Finance Boot Camp. In a 60-Minute tele-class, women at all stages of the divorce process now have access to training on critical information they’ll need for developing confidence about financial decision-making and insuring better settlement outcomes.
Silicon Valley, CA (PRWEB) January 18, 2005 -- Beginning Monday, January 31st at 3pm EST, Teresa Dentino, CEO and Founder of theFinancial411, will present the first of a four-part series of tele-classes designed to enhance a woman’s sense of control while negotiating the tricky financial aspects of the divorce process. Modeled on the Divorce Support & Finance Boot Camps Ms. Dentino currently conducts in Silicon Valley, the tele-class gives women another option for tapping into this resource.
The “Boot Camp” model Dentino developed includes plenty of practical applications where members “learn to do the math”.
“We do it real-time, we look at the hard numbers, we compare and contrast scenarios, and they learn to make objective financial evaluations,” says Dentino.
Taking it beyond the esoteric concepts that are typically presented in seminars makes it real and meaningful to the participants. By discussing their situations with other women in similar circumstances, the “synergies and bonds” add a key level of support along with the cross-pollination of experiences. “Another important aspect is the confidentiality and anonymity we maintain – this doesn’t happen in public workshops,” says Dentino.
The same formula is currently used in Dentino’s Women’s Financial Fitness program where the focus is on overall financial “know-how” and not divorce finances. “It’s a roundtable approach versus someone talking at you,” says Dentino. “Collegial is more effective.”
Teresa Dentino, who founded theFinancial411 in response to women’s need for non-biased financial skills education, said women are quite capable of learning the financial gatekeeper role when information is presented in a relevant, jargon-free manner. “We’ve had outstanding results and satisfaction from our local Boot Camps and so we wanted to make this available to every woman,” said Dentino. “An 800# conference call offers the opportunity for anyone in the contiguous United States virtually the same support.”
Erin F., a client who recently participated in a Divorce Support & Finance Boot Camp, expressed the prevalent feeling of women who emerge after the standard four -meeting process: “I feel so much better. Having someone guide me on the financial evaluations kept me from getting overly emotional and resulted in a more objective and analytical approach to some complex financial considerations. I have no lingering doubts about my decisions.”
Family Law attorneys have recognized the need for this service as well and their referrals now account for many of the clients who attend the Boot Camps.
Registration for the current tele-class to begin January 31st is still open and can be accessed through theFinancial411 website at:
