SCRIPT: Your Financial Fitness, I'm Jon McNally. Before he entered the investment world, Ameritrade CEO Joe Moglia spent sixteen years as a football coach. Joe, are the two professions similar?

CUT: (Moglia) They really are. I mean, if you look at it from a coaching perspective, one of the things you try to do with your athletes, they understand the idea of "no pain, no gain." It's the same thing with regards to investing. You've got to know the basics behind what different individual investment vehicles are.

SCRIPT: What can we learn in your new book "Coach Yourself to Success: Winning the Investment Game?"

CUT: (Moglia) There's nobody that cares more about your money than yourself. And, Wall Street can make investing for the longer-term investor very, very intimidating. Because, at the end of the day, they're the ones responsible for their ultimate financial well-being.
