YOUNG MONEY(R) Wins AFCPE Consumer Financial Information Award

Magazine's Interactive Teaching Tool also Honored with Technology
and Learning Magazine's Award of Excellence

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 21 -- YOUNG MONEY magazine, a publication
of Orlando-based InCharge(R) Education Foundation, Inc., has been selected the
2005 winner of the Outstanding Consumer Information Award by the Association
for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE). This award comes just
one year after YOUNG MONEY's sister publication, Military Money(TM), was
honored with the same award.
YOUNG MONEY, a bimonthly money, business and lifestyle magazine for young
adults ages 18 to 25, was presented with the prestigious education award at
this month's AFCPE conference, which was held November 16th-18th in
Scottsdale, Arizona.
The AFCPE's annual Outstanding Consumer Information Award is designed to
encourage information flow to consumers in need of financial planning and
assistance with money issues. YOUNG MONEY was chosen for this year's award
because of their widely distributed educational materials, geared for young
adults.
"We are very proud to receive this award from the AFCPE," said Rebecca
Stiehl, president of the InCharge Education Foundation. "On behalf of the
YOUNG MONEY staff and the many people involved in our education efforts, we
are pleased to receive this recognition, as we continue expanding our wide
range of financial education services to young adults all across the country."
YOUNG MONEY's interactive website, http://www.youngmoney.com, offers a
multitude of tips and articles on personal finance geared directly to college-
age readers, including the interactive teaching tool, "Grab Todd's Cash,"
which offers a fun and risk-free way for players to learn financial skills
online.
In addition to the AFCPE honors, "Grab Todd's Cash" was recently awarded
Technology and Learning Magazine's Award of Excellence. The 23-year-old awards
program honors innovative applications that break new ground, along with best-
of-breed examples that demonstrate clear superiority over similar products in
the market. Technology & Learning (http://www.techlearning.com) is the number
one publication in the K-12 educational technology market.
YOUNG MONEY'S articles are written in large part by college student
journalists for a young adult audience. Launched in 1999 to change the way
young adults earn, manage, invest and spend money, the magazine's content
addresses the financial concerns specific to this age group, including:
saving/investing, credit cards, career choices and entrepreneurship.

Inc., an award-winning organization specializing in personal finance education
